perhaps we should flip that and say I was so busy remembering … so much.
Our Brains can only keep up with so many things at once. We try to multitask at everything we could do.
On the clergy trip to Bali we traveled in a different time and space. Time was a very spiritual commodity. There was an ease to it. I can still focus on that experience and find that ease. But alas, not often enough that it is my daily operating mode.
So this lent perhaps we need to find that ease. Pray, worship, walk the labyrinth, feed the poor, welcome the refugee, and know peace.
