I moved school districts when I was in my Jr Year. I only knew one person at the new school and she was a Sr but adopted me. That meant I didn’t have to sit alone at l7nch. Chris was involved in the Drama club. The JESTERS. So I joined too. I loved the folks in the group and it connected me right away with a group. And drama group was an eclectic group of fun people. I tried out for plays but didn’t make the cast bit my Sr year I was student director of the fall play. Tea house of the August Moon. It was quite a production.
Then too I had been elected President of the drama club.
One if my claims to fame was lip sinc Hey Jacque by Eartha Kitt. It is still something I do for fun. I did it for the Talent Show at New Life with Bill who was great.
This was so good a group as we were tasked with being unique. And we were.
I always seemed to get elected to be in leadership all through life. Happy to be retired from that too.
